No painting experience is required to create your own Monet-inspired masterpiece at our event. Our instructor will guide you through every step, providing helpful tips and advice. Simply show up for a night of artsy fun!
Paint Like Monet will be presented by Talia Prilutsky, an Art Educator (MA)/Artist living in Wheeling IL.
Originally from Ukraine, Talia came to Chicago in 1998 from Israel. She has participated in many local art shows, and her work has been published in Art & Beyond magazine and in a catalogue “Living Artists of Today: Contemporary Art.” She is the founder of Artishock, a private art studio, and served as its Art Director/Instructor for 15 years. Talia still loves teaching art at all levels – to children, teens and adults. Since 2015, Talia has been conducting social painting parties with great success, helping people to find their inner artist and inspiration. She believes that art has the power to inspire, heal, challenge, and bring peace to our lives.

Jazz connoisseurs and curious explorers alike will revel in musical excellence as this trio of musicians, each legendary in their own right, join forces for a multidimensional explosion of sound.
The 2022 NEA Jazz Master Billy Hart, a performer and educator whose name is on the front pages of jazz history, performed as a member of the Herbie Hancock Sextet, also playing with Stan Getz and McCoy Tyner. The prolific jazz guitarist and composer Yotam Silberstein’s signature sound is rich in bebop and blues, as well as folklore from South America, North Africa and the Middle East. Omer Avital, an acclaimed Israeli-American bassist, composer and bandleader, is a contemporary jazz master, and a recipient of the ASCAP Vanguard Award.
